School Council

For 2026-27 we have chosen to support (ARCS) Ashbourne Refugee Community Sponsorship.

We have chosen to support this charity because it helps people who have lost their homes in other countries that may be affected by wars. We believe that welcoming them into our country and community is important because we want all people to be safe.

This links to our community cornerstone as the world is one big community and we want to welcome and care for everyone in this.

2025/26

Our School Council has been bursting with fresh ideas to enhance school life, from playground upgrades to new clubs. We decided that as a priority for the team is boosting our digital resources; to achieve this, the children have been proactively writing to local businesses to request funding for new laptops. Additionally, we are going to continue to pursue some more of the ideas that the children have generated.

2024/25

We are thrilled to announce a fantastic new partnership between our School Council and the local community! Showing incredible initiative and leadership, our student representatives successfully liaised with Henmore Health to secure a brand-new, professional sports kit for our pupils.

This sleek new gear ensures our children will not only perform their best but also look the part when representing our school at sports events. A huge thank you to our School Council for their hard work and to Henmore Health for their generous support in helping our pupils shine!
