Bradley PTFA

At Bradley we have an active and enthusiastic Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA). We aim to provide both parents and pupils with a number of fun social activities throughout the year, whilst raising all important funds for school.

Our committee consists of Mums and Dads, meeting four times a year to organise our forthcoming events.  We also have formal posts, which are elected every February.  These positions are currently held by:

   PTA Committee Positions

  Chair –            Louise Andrews

  Secretary –     Ella Chu

  Treasurer –     Caroline Hammersley

Our events include Bingo nights and Beetle drives, as well as our annual Christmas and Summer Fairs. All events are open to all the family, are well supported and great fun. Our aim is to both raise money for our school and create a sociable, welcoming, inclusive environment for all our families at the school.

Back by popular demand each year is our Summer Holiday ‘Tuesday Club’, where each Tuesday parents and children meet up at different pre-arranged locations for a picnic, chat and games. Places included Ilam, Sudbury Hall and Dovedale. The children enjoy seeing their friends and parents get a well deserved chance to sit and rest for the day! Details are released each July of venues, times etc. Everyone is very welcome to come along and join us.

We are very proud to say that the hard work of our PTFA has been nationally recognised. The magazine PTA UK found our story inspiring and unique due to our low pupil numbers, yet high level of participation from parents and the local community, and wanted to write about it.

The PTFA produce newsletters on a termly basis with all the information you require on the forthcoming events, plus update the noticeboard outside school. We’ll also place any newsletters, adverts or posters on this website, so keep watch for what’s coming up.

Many thanks

PTFA
